A Fine Choice of Words

A friend of mine recently moved her business and family to the USA and suddenly found herself diagnosed with a particularly nasty type of cancer. Treatment required six weeks of intensive radiotherapy at 7.30 every morning.

Had she been here in the UK we, her close friends, would have gathered round and cooked meals, taken kids to school, drove her to treatment and done anything else needed to lend a helping hand in her time of need.

With her being on the other side of the ocean, another form of help and support was required. We wanted her to know that each and every day she had to undergo the treatment we were with her, showering her with love. So, we took to sending her texts and emails at the appropriate time to keep her morale up. We also sent her numerous physical cards too with longer messages of support to remind her we were with her all the way.

I had, in fact, already been mulling over creating a way of doing what we did for our friend in need; a way for friends and family to send messages of support, encouragement, sympathy, inspiration, congratulations or just to say hi. I wanted to produce a means by which people could send messages of love and positivity all around the world. I also wanted it to be free to everyone.

A Fine Choice of Words was created to fill this need. I very much hope you will use and enjoy this service and that you manage to find the perfect sentiment for what you want to say.
